Morning OILY Routine

I would like to share with you some of the oils I use on a regular basis as part of my morning routine.

Before I eat or drink anything else I add a drop or two of Lemon Essential Oil in room temperature water.  Lemon naturally helps aid in digestion and cleanses the body.  It also helps promote healthy functioning of the GI tract.

I like to add Frankincense to my facial moisturizer to reduce the appearance of blemishes and rejuvenate my skin.

Did you know that you can get toothpaste with essential oils in it?  I have been using an essential oil toothpaste for at least a year now and I really love it.  I like that it is fluoride free and has some of the protective benefits of certain blends of essential oils.  It also naturally whitens your teeth.  Not to mention it tastes great!

And finally, I fire up our diffuser in our main living area.  I put in whatever fits the bill for that day.  Sometimes I use a citrus oil for the pick me up.  Sometimes I'll use an anti-viral blend if we've been fighting off something.  It totally depends on the circumstances and my (or our) mood.
