About Me and the FamOILY

I've been married to my amazing husband since 2004.  He's a PE teacher at a local elementary school and I am proud to be a homemaker, home birther and homeschooler.  We met in the fall of 2003 while I was preparing to do my student teaching and we married the next spring.  We have been blessed with four little ones.

LouBugs is my strong willed 9 year old.  She loves animals, art and babies. 

BubbaBoy is my bouncy 7 year old.  He is passionate about making noise and has an amazing knack for making Biblical connections.

LittleGuy is my bouncy 4 year old.  He is a bulldozer with a mind for understanding how things work.

SweetGirl is my 2 year old baby.  She is a funny little girl full of compassion.

We live in Northern Illinois, about 45 minutes northwest of Chicago.  As a family, we enjoy playing card games and spending time outside.  My husband and I are also committed to living a healthy and holistic lifestyle.  We are always learning new ways to improve our health and our selves.

Our dream is to one day own several acres of land, raise chickens, and have a HUGE garden.  I wouldn't mind having a farm somewhere other than the midwest, but I'll take whatever the Lord gives us.
